01/20/2008 I am not going to comment on this particular cartoon. I'd rather not end up like Jimmy Hoffa. You may interpret it as you wish.

Hope your holidays were fun! Christmas, new years, and then my birthday... I guess now it's back to work. I'm nearing the end of my program at school. A new animated film will be up before the quarter's over. After that it's back to work on the BA. Someday school ends...I think...

12/16/2007 I often draw doodles while in church on Sundays. I thought it would be fun to start putting them up here. At the very least, it might make for more frequent updates, even if the art isn't all that great.

Being homeless is lame, women are downright mean, work is no fun anymore, and college is wasting my time. My, don't I sound positive??

12/14/2007 Christmas Decorations up!!

-Whew- I'm tired. School was really keeping me busy. Sooo glad finals are over!!

11/10/2007 Thanksgiving decorations are up! Whoo!

11/9/2007 Here's to another angry "Useless Fruit Smashing Day." May your fruit and pumpkins splatter mightely. We miss you Dad.

Halloween was a huge success. As promised, my haunted house made kids cry and adults scream. It was great. New holiday decorations soon.

10/28/2007 Whoo! Halloween is this week! I made the coolest haunted house! Children will cry, mark my words.

The Red Sox are lame. Stupid east coast media bias.

Happy Halloween!!

10/14/2007 I was feeling festive today, so I decorated the site for Halloween. Ooooooooooh...scarey.

In other news, we're trying to increase the number of hits to the site, so I'll be updating more often. Be sure to visit us frequently, and tell your friends!

10/13/2007 School's keeping me busy. Some interesting side projects for the site are in the works as well. I'm not going to venture a guess as to when everything will finally materialize here, but when it does, it should be pretty cool.

08/19/2007 -Whew- That little trailer took a really long time. I start school this week. Hooray for 13 hour days! Oh wait...dang...

07/26/2007 Been a little while since I updated things. Hooray for new comic strips!

06/14/2007 I had to say goodbye to all my kids yesterday. It was hard. I hope they enjoy their summer and that I see them again soon.

Now I need a new job. And yes, I do hate reality television.

06/12/2007 Today was an absolutely perfect day.

06/11/2007 Just wanted to get something new up. Took less than an hour. New things coming soon...

05/20/2007 Hooray for me, I updated!

04/20/2007 NEW MOVIES! In the "Extras" section. Be sure to watch "Pennant Race." It's my favorite, for obvious reasons.

The strip today is nothing fancy, just wanted to get something new up since it's been a while.

03/24/2007 These film classes are working me like a dog. But it's fun. Check out Super Rabbit. It now has sound and music! I spent a little time and re-encoded the other movies as well. You probably won't notice it, but they might stream a little faster. Speaking of movies, there will be THREE more added soon, hopefully in about a week when finals are over. And since finals will be over, we might actually have some new comic strips again! In the meantime, enjoy Super Rabbit.

Oh yeah, Melissa is totally married.

02/18/2007 This strip took a lot longer to finish then I had anticipated. But I wanted to do it in color. On a side note, I just realized that It was Singles Awareness Day last year when I first started doing strips in color. Huh. Cool.

I have a little time off to [hopefully] finally finish some projects that have hounded me since last October. Expect new strips, and new movies soon.

02/14/2007 Happy Singles Awareness Day! It's 2:30 in the morning, and I stayed up all night to make a Valentine's Day strip, but it really needs to be in color so you're going to have to wait a couple more days. Until then, enjoy this strip from last year!

01/29/2007 -Whew- I've basically been living in Adobe Premiere these last several weeks. You know you've been spending too much time editing when you start rearranging your dreams as if they were movie clips... I'm sorry there's been no updates. I promised myself I wouldn't do anything else until I'd finished the projects and assignments I'm currently involved with. I haven't watched tv, I haven't been social, I've barely slept...I'm even behind on my Veronica Mars... But I have made loads of progress, and I am learning quite a bit. I wanted to let the readers know, as there have been a lot more visits lately. I AM still here, just give me a little time to wrap these things up.

It must be getting close to Valentine's Day because my old columns from high school have been getting more hits than ever this past week. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry knowing that every time people google "love rejection letters" my lovesick teenage rantings from high school pop up...

01/16/2007 What an odd couple of weeks this has been. Aside from school starting again, and from working my tail off on yet another set of short film projects, my computer decided to crap out on me. I mean it died. It really died. I had to hook it up to life support and remove everything that was near and dear to me. Fortunately, I was able to save everything of value, although I did lose my bookmarks and quite a bit of emails in the process. Anyways, it took some time, but we're finally back up and running. Oh yeah, and somewhere in there I may or may not have gotten a year older. I'm not at liberty to say.

12/24/2006 - MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Hope your holiday season brings you peace and much joy!

12/17/2006 - WE HAVE MOVIES!! So just in case some of you thought I've been wasting my time slacking off, I put a couple of my movie projects up in the "extras" section. The first was an editing project, and the second was my final for the quarter. I was pleased with the way they turned out, as well as with the reactions I've received. Be sure to check it out, they will take just a little while to load.

Now that the short films are done for a while, it's time to get back to work on comic strips!

12/15/2006 - I apologize for the lack of updates as of late. Finals are over and so is the semester, so things should be getting back to normal. As a bonus there will be a couple of movies done for my film class available for viewing in the "Extras" section soon. Be sure to check back as things should be getting back under way here.

11/13/2006 - -Whew- I wanted to get this up sooner. But I had a pretty busy weekend. We had quite the movie extravaganza the other night. My sleep schedule is all outta whack now...as if it wasn't before...

In other news, I may or may not have had cookies for breakfast...

11/10/2006 - I have a strip all inked and ready to go, but I'd like to color it, so it probably won't be up until tomorrow afternoon. I keep getting more and more visitors, so I'm starting to feel really obligated to add strips more frequently. I've been looking at the site statistics lately, and it's been a lot of fun to see where my visitors are from. I especially find it humorous when my stats tell me that people are visiting the site from their office computers. I'm glad I can provide a healthy distraction from the mundane grind of office life...and I promise I won't tell your bosses.

In other news, yesterday was "Useless Fruit Smashing Day." Having been the thriftiest of accountants in life, I'm not sure my dad would have ever participated in such festivities, but I hope he was able to witness the tremendous array of orange and pumpkin spatter, and that it brought a smile to his face.

10/19/2006 - I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. There was this big movie project that took up a few weeks of my time. 72 hours straight with no sleep. They came out really good though, so it was all worth it. Then there's playoff baseball...I don't need stupid fatman Tommy Lasorda to tell me it's my duty. But now the Mets are out and I have to choose the lesser of two evils...

09/23/2006 - We've had a pretty significant increase in visits to the site recently. I think it has something to do with actually updating regularly. We hope you continue to visit us!

The San Francisco Giants are like the bad girlfriend who always leads you on, constantly getting your hopes up only to tear out your heart, smash it over the hood of her car, and stuff it down the garbage disposal. But despite the heartache and dissappointment, despite constantly being mistreated, you stay with her anyway, because you love her. It doesn't make sense, but that's baseball. -sniff- Call me.

09/16/2006 - This strip is special. Take a good look, because this is what started it all. Four years ago in a math class I drew this comic strip, and everything else spawned from that single strip. For old times' sake, you can see the original here. And for the record, I'm not obliged to discuss the real-life applications of said comic strip. Any similarities to actual persons is completely coincedental...really...

09/11/2006 - This strip got sloppier and sloppier as I created it. But I was past due for an update, and wanted to get something up. I promise the next one will look nicer.

In other news, I'm still embarrassed.

09/06/2006 - I don't get embarrassed easy, but I don't think I've ever been so embarrassed as I was today...

I wasn't home all last week which is why there were no updates. I'll get back on that, and soon.

08/23/2006 - And the story progresses...

These days there are a few things that really give me joy in life. And one of them starts again today!!

08/19/2006 - Over two years ago we started this story line. In preparation of actually continuing it, I thought it'd be wise to rerun the first two strips.

Finally updated the FAQ section.

08/15/2006 - Just when things couldn't get worse...You ever had your car broken into? I have.

08/14/2006 - I hate being cursed. I hate being twenty-five. I hate Utah. I hate the Dodgers. I hate the entire academic world and everything it stands for. I hate the collective time span of 2003-2006. I will probably hate 2007. I hate my culture, and my deadened social life. I hate Tommy Lasorda, peas, and doing dishes. Chances are, I hate you as well. I've done my part dang-it.

08/05/2006 - My summer term is over, and now it's time for a nice long vacation! I had hoped to get a strip up before I left, but summer is calling me. Be back in a few weeks!

07/18/2006 - Just a short little sketchy strip today as things have been really, really busy. Be sure to check out the "Extras" section if you haven't already.

Saw a really cool play based off of "Alice in Wonderland" the other day. Humpty Dumpty was awesome, actually, better than awesome. Humpty Dumpty was . . . Kaytandifferickendous! And yes . . . I did make up that word just now.

07/14/2006 - Been working all week. New MOVIE, figure work, and all sorts of goodness in the "Extras" section. Man, the "Extras" section rocks.

07/03/2006 - This one's been in the works for some time, but finals week delayed it a bit. The quotes in the strip are all authentic. Sad, but true...

A few weeks ago I started tracking visits to the site. It's been fun to see where visitors are from. We've had visits from just about everywhere in the US (particularly from CA, and some from UT), but we've also had several visits from Europe, Canada, and South America. All of your visits are greatly appreciated, and I hope you'll continue to visit the site frequently!

Thanks to a more accomodating summer schedule, I'm hoping for more frequent and regular updates. I'd like to get some sort of a story line going again.

05/06/2006 - Added the last of the pencil tests to the "extras" section. Had a glass of milk.

05/03/2006 - This strip was made a little differently than any of the others as I wanted to try some different methods. In the end it had it's advantages and disadvantages. I'll probably stick with what I've done in the past.

Blah. I have a million things to do.

04/08/2006 - Fixed up a lot of the pages that were "under construction." I Still have a little more to do, but it's just about there. New pencil tests still to come.

I really hadn't planned on working on the site this weekend, but I got an email demanding that updates and new comic strips be made. And so I really had no choice but to do a new strip and update things a little bit. So hopefully this makes you happy Katelyn. I would hate to suffer the wrath of an angry 5th grader...

04/07/2006 - So this basically sums up my Friday night...

04/03/2006 - HAPPY OPENING DAY!!!! Baseball = Life.

03/28/2006 - Be sure to check out the newly completed animated Flash cartoon titled "Beware" found in the "Extras" section. It represents a huge investment in time and effort, so hopefully you find it enjoyable.

Also to the "Extras" section I'll also be adding several more animated pencil tests this week. Cartoons are good.

Baseball is less than a week away!

03/04/2006 - Added some cool new stuff to the store. Added a lot of work into the "Photography" section. Listened to the Giants post game show.

02/21/2006 - A couple of my animated pencil tests are now located in the "Extras" section. They're nothing real exciting, but be sure to check it out because it took me a long time to figure out how to get them there.

Next I'd like to finish updating the rest of the site and add some new things to the store.

Spring training just started. Heck yes.

02/14/2006 - Happy Single's Awareness Day. I know what you're thinking. You see the comic strip in color and you want to know if I'll be doing them like this from now on. No. The answer is no. It takes waaaaaay too long. I just did it 'cause it was Valentine's Day, and I had a lot of free time on my hands...

There's a few things to look for in the relatively near future. There will be some animation shorts I've been doing added to the "extras" section soon. And after that there will be some new merchandise in the store.

In California Winter's just about over. Baseball season is coming, I can feel it.

11/28/2005 - So I basically spent this last week giving the site a major overhaul. Took a really long time (especially since I coded EVERYTHING in notepad), but I like the way it's looking, and it needed a change. I'm still not completely done with every page, but it's mostly there. Perhaps this will kickstart me into regular updates again. Wouldn't that be nice?

11/23/2005 - Retooled the site and made some major changes to it's appearance, as well as to structure of a few things. Added a link to the photo gallery. I'm not completely finished yet, but it's late and I'm sooooo very tired.

11/22/2005 - I'm a loser. A loser in sooooo many ways... New merchandise soon...hopefully...before Christmas...

08/06/2005 - Alright Ruth. I updated my site, just like I promised. If it's alright with you now, I'm going to go on my vacation. When I get back, I'll try to be more regular on the updates. And don't forget: the Dodgers are the scum of the earth only fit for extermination!

07/17/2005 - I really need to get going on the cartoons again. I renewed the site for another two years, so I should really get going and get my money's worth. I may throw out some storylines and start anew, or at least try to speed things ahead a little.

On another note, it sure was nice to see the Giants Ace the Dodgers these last four days. Heh, heh...stupid Dodgers.

04/18/2005 - Wow. It's been a long time. School is almost done. As soon as it is I'm leaving this putrid desert and going back to California. Things make sense there. No offense to the Utah fans, but your state has made me miserable, and I'm not sure I'll ever be coming back. Good news is, hopefully I can finally get back to a regular updating schedule of comic strips. Either way, I have a whole lot of new fodder for storylines.

11/18/2004 - Played a little with the site today. First, I changed the way the "first" buttons navigate. I doubt anyone will notice, but it's something I've been meaning to do. I also added a bunch of new artwork and moved all the wallpapers to the "Gallery" section. I also fixed any broken links I could find and added a new vote button to the "vote" section. Hope you enjoy!

11/15/2004 - Alright. I have gotten so much mail about my lack of updates. I'm sorry. Really. It's nice to know that so many people care about the strip though, and I want you to know that I haven't given it up, I've just been very distracted as of late. One reason for the complete lack of updates, is that the Utah Statesman has stopped printing the strip. If that bothers you, and you'd like to see the strip done more reguraly, you might email the Statesman directly and let them know. statesman@cc.usu.edu

There's a lot I want to add to the site, some new artwork I've done, as well as some things that I hope to be working on soon. And, there's a heck of a lot of story I want to get to, so while I've let a lot of you down with my lack of strips as of late, I hope you'll continue to check back with us. As long as you keep reading, I'll keep drawing comics. Thanks for caring enough to yell at me.

08/31/2004 - Wow...it's been a while. Alright folks, I'm back at school, work is starting to die down now, and after this week I'll be having a lot more free time on my hands. Expect strips to start regularly again by monday. Thank you for your patience.

07/09/2004 - I am soooooo sorry I haven't been updating. I've been working a lot which is good, but I feel bad for having not updated even a quarter as much as I had intended to this summer. I'm going to try and buckle down and put up a new strip at least weekly from here on out. I have added a few little things here and there. Some of you may have noticed some new way-cool merchandise up in the store, and today I added some SUPER WAY COOL pictures drawn for me from some of my biggest fans! You guys are great!! Look for the extremely talented fan art in the "Extras" section. Now, I must get back to watching Giants baseball.

06/28/2004 - I didn't get a strip finished for today like I had hoped, but I'm going to try and get it done in the next few days. Sorry I'm so slow. I did add some fun new merchandise to the store though, so at least something's been updated. Be sure to check it out, and check back here for a new strip later in the week.

06/23/2004 - THE GIANTS ARE IN FIRST PLACE!!! TAKE THAT YOU LOUSY DODGERS!!

06/21/2004 - Hooray for me! I finally put a semi-decent real strip up! I can't tell you when the next one will appear, but at least I'm making some progress. Anyway, it's late, and I have work in the morning...

06/06/2004 - Okay, before I get anymore questions about why I haven't updated in almost a month let me explain. Yes, the following will be a list of excuses, but I promise, they're really good excuses. First I couldn't get internet access in CA for a good little while, then I went and had my tonsils removed which left me incapacitated for a good two weeks. Once I felt better I tried to update the site, but server problems defied me from doing so until today (thanks for fixing that Don!). So you see, this really was the first chance I had to update. I start work again the following week. Thus, I will be back to my regular summer schedule, which means comic strips for you!! I appriciate your patience, and I promise I really had no intentions of neglecting the strip, it was just a matter of not being able to access my server, or get up off the couch due to severe lack of tonsils.

05/10/2004 - I promise I'm not dead, really. I did just get back to beautiful California however, and have yet to unload my car which contains my computer and comicky goodness. So no worries, I'll be getting back to work soon enough.

04/19/2004 - Well, this will be the strip for the next couple weeks. I promise I'll get back to work soon, but I need to wrap up this semester and then drive back to California. I imagine the strips will start appearing regurlarly again sometime around the second week of May. Sorry to make you wait, but don't worry, we'll be back as soon as I get settled.

Oh yeah, and I hate the Dodgers. See 'ya in a few weeks!

04/16/2004 - Alright folks, there will be another new strip on Monday, but after that I'm going on a short break as my semester ends and finals come around. The strip will resume in a couple weeks with a new storyline, once I get back to good ol' California. In the mean time, read the archives and lets see some votes.

04/14/2004 - Sorry I skipped Monday, I was waiting for the newspaper to catch up again.

660, and 661! Here's hoping all of Barry's homeruns lead us to the World Series again this year.

The semester is nearing it's close. I'm going to warn you now that when the month ends, I'll be taking a short couple week break as I pack things up and return to California. But that won't be for a couple more weeks, so in the mean time, let's keep voting hmm?

04/09/2004 - Man, I'm so glad it's Friday!

Went through the site and changed some of the numbering for the latest strips, you shouldn't really notice a thing. Well, not much to report, other than the usual. VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

04/08/2004 - Sorry I'm a little late putting this strip up. I'm sure there was a really good reason as to why, I just can't remember what it was... Oh yeah, now I remember.

Anyway, this one's kind of a "Utah State" comic strip. For those of you who don't know, a "true Aggie" is one who has stood atop the infamous "A" at the stroke of midnight on certain designated "true Aggie" nights, and kissed another. It's somewhat of a long standing tradition at Utah State. The "A" can be seen in the background of Friday the 2nd's comic strip, for those of you who would like a better idea of what it looks like. Anyhow, it's late and I have much to do.

04/05/2004 - Got some interesting feedback from Friday's strip. Some positive, some negative, but mostly positive. I've been trying out some new strips lately, but for those of you who are concerned, don't worry, the story will resume in time. Either way, your votes would be appriciated...

In other news, I had an interesting weekend. Giants opener today!!!!!

04/02/2004 - You kind of have to live here in Utah to really get the full scope of this strip. It should be noted that I really don't think that Utahns are a bunch of bigots. I just wanted to make a scene. Now that I've sucessfully accomplished that, I'm going to go to bed. We'll see if I get anymore votes from the beehive state...

03/31/2004 - It's the last day of March. I was up too late last night. I just found my ID card. Staccato finally updated. Major League baseball is underway. I think I need to eat something else besides roast beef sandwiches. This comic strip fits very well with today.

03/29/2004 - This strip took a long time to make.

I had a really great weekend. My hockey team won an upset game in overtime to advance in the playoffs! Although I will admit, I did take two minutes for slashing... Nonetheless, here's hoping for more weekends like last weekend...

03/26/2004 - For those of you who were wondering why I didn't add a new strip until now, the reasoning was I was waiting for the Statesman to catch up. They skipped a few days in their newspapers this past week, and I prefer to have the site and their newspapers on the same schedule. Anyway, sorry for the delay, there will be another new one on Monday.

Vote! You Lame-Os...

In other news, today has the potential to be a very good day...

03/20/2004 - Alright all you modem users... I've updated the page so that everything should load a heck of a lot faster. I'm talking A LOT faster. So don't say I never did anything for you. Hope it makes things easier on you!

03/18/2004 - It's 5:16 in the morning, and I am soooo tired. That'll teach me to leave research papers to the last minute...and art assignments...and group projects...okay...it probablly won't teach me a thing...

I gotta say that I am lovin' my new "Spooner Issue #1" comic book, complete with seamonkey and Mr. Atlas advertisements! Ted Dawson is a way cool and talented guy, who even took the time to write a thoughtful reply to my email! That alone deserves an extra-special plug from me. Do check out Ted Dawson's "Spooner!" I promise you won't be disappointed!

In other news, I don't know what's with the Statesman printing the same strip over again yesterday, and skipping strips prior to that. They've never been very good at the whole continuity thing...-alas-

What's with the no voting thing? I know there's at least one or two of you out there (although I won't know for sure until I get something to read my site statistics). How about making yourselves known by hitting those vote buttons hmmm?

I'm going to bed now.

03/16/2004 - Here's your strip. Expect the next one on Thursday or Friday. I have so much stuff due this week. I hate you college.

Modem users rejoice! This weekend I plan to go through the entire site and lower the file size of all the graphics, so that you too can enjoy "Matt & Michael" at lighting fast speeds without actually joining the rest of the world by getting cable or DSL! You should notice HUGE differences in loading time.

03/05/2004 - Won't be any new strips next week due to my Spring Break. Next update will be on Monday, 15th of March. See you then! Oh yeah, be sure to vote too!

03/03/2004 - I am such a sellout. I'm sorry, really. In other news, I tried something a little new with the shading on this one. Lemme know what you think. I think it looks good, but I need to have a bit more experience with it. I need to get some brushes and try inking the strips a little differently too, but we'll get to that later. Oh yeah, one more thing, Burger King is lame. Aside from forgetting my cheese, they didn't give us straws either. Major loss of SWASS points.

03/01/2004 - Hooray for March, a new month. I've been updating pretty reguraly lately, how 'bout some votes huh? By the way, that test I thought I was gonna fail? (see 2/27) Yeah, 73 out of 75. Not bad for having not gone to class for the past two weeks...

02/28/2004 - Happy birthday Dad, we miss you.

02/27/2004 - It's 2:48 in the morning, and I had a rotton Thurday. Grrr... Thank goodness Friday is upon us. Now I get to work, and fail a test or something...

02/25/2004 - Sorry there was no strip on Monday. There were some good reasons as to why, but I won't bore you with my excuses. Anyway, despite there not being a strip for that day, my Monday still proved to be highly enjoyable...

02/20/2004 - I guess it's actually the 21st since it's 4:04 in the morning... I think I'm going to go to bed now...

02/18/2004 - I wish I had something exciting to say...but I don't. Oh well.

02/13/2004 - Friday the 13th. Ooooh, scarey. Enjoy the long weekend!

02/09/2004 - It must be Monday. I scored a hat trick on Saturday. (That's three goals for those of you that are hockey illiterate.) Here's two things I would appriciate: 1. For you Logan UT readers, head down to the Statesman office and fill out their comic survey! 2. Vote for the site! Always appriciate the voting!

02/04/2004 - New strip! Be sure to vote! If you read in the Statesman, be sure to fill out the funny page survey when it appears in the next few days!

02/01/2004 - Sorry it's been a couple weeks. I kind of took a vacation while I waited for the newspaper to catch up. Now I'm a couple weeks ahead of them, and I intend to keep it that way, so I would expect about three new strips every week for the next little while. Mmmmm...plottage... Guess what?! Today's strip is strip #50!! How cool is that?! Who knew we would've made it this far? I'm shooting for #100 to arrive sometime in July-August.

01/19/2004 - Whoops, little too long without an update, sorry 'bout that. I promise I'll do better, really.

01/07/2004 - Whoo-hoo! Yesterday was the coolest day ever! Aside from it being my birthday (which I totally almost forgot except everyone was so nice to remind me), "Matt & Michael" began it's run in the Utah State University paper, The Utah Statesman, I received a very cool "Kim Possible" toy for my birthday, got to talk with some very beautiful girls, continued my James Bond marathon, met a prospective new band with which to play, and had a really good roast beef sandwhich for lunch. The sandwhich in itself is reason enough to label it as a really good day, and when you add all that other stuff in there, you have the makings of a day to remember. Happy Birthday to me I guess, here's to the big 2-3.

01/04/2004 - This one was a lot of fun to make. I could apologize to all our democrat readers, but I wouldn't mean it... It was either Democrats or hippies, and after conducting various surveys and performing loads of scientific research, the results at this juncture were inconclusive. In the end, I decided to make fun of democrats, because I just kind of like to make fun of democrats. Not because I disagree with them, just because they get so riled up when you poke a little fun at them.

Still working on the calendar, really hoping I get it done soon. Expect another strip in a couple of days.

01/02/2004 - Happy new year! Wow. 2004. Better be bettern' 2003 (course that shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish). New strip for you! Not only that, but due to the work I've done over my vacation, I can promise that this week will have a steady flow of additional material coming in. I've also been working on my 2004 calendar. I had hoped to get it available in the store before the new year, but there just wasn't time. Look for it in the store in the next week or two. Also rescanned and shaded the first couple strips in "Cafeteria Escapades." Methinks they look a little better now.

Pop Sky's album "User Friendly" has slashed it's prices! Available now for only $7.29! Go to the store to sample music or order one online!

In other news, studman Devin Van Winkle is currently on the long road to comic strip syndication. This is way cool, but unfortunetely it means that we won't be able to enjoy his online strip "Middletown" for some time. We'll miss the weekly Middletown strips, but we wish him the best as he strives to break into the world 'o syndication.

It appears that the "topwebcomics" site is once again up and running, this time under new management. Despite their "on again, off again" history, we decided to give them another shot. So, Matt & Michael is once again on the "topwebcomics" site, so be sure to vote by hitting those vote buttons.

Come back soon!

12/13/2003 - I'm so glad finals week is over. We're going to take a little break for a few weeks since I'll be away from my computer. Don't worry though, I intend to get a bunch of drawing done, so when i return (sometime in the first week of Jan.), I'll have a bunch of new strips to put up for you. Happy Holidays!

12/01/2003 - Wow, is it really December? Added a bunch of good links to the "links" section. Be sure to check them out. Took down all the links for the "topwebcomics" site, as it is officially dead. Hopefully a new strip up tonight or tomorrow.

11/24/2003 - Finally got a new strip up for you. I've been sick all week and it just isn't fun. I'll be on vaction for Thanksgiving starting tomorrow, so the next strip probablly won't be up until somewhere around the 1st of Dec. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

11/19/2003 - The Matt & Michael Store is officially open for business! There's a fair amount of stuff there, although I stand to make little or no profit no matter how much is sold. It was a lot of fun getting it set up though, so be sure to check out the goods.

Got rid of my annoying little popup ad. If you want to vote, hit the vote button, and if you want to buy a Pop Sky album go to the store.

11/18/2003 - Back to work. I've been working on some Matt & Michael merchandise lately so that should be fun. Hopefully I'll have some new strips for you this week as well. Thank you all for being patient.

I would like to take a line or two to honor the life of a great man, as well as a tremendous father: William Taylor (1948-2003). In life he was a devoted father and husband to his family, as well as a lifetime supporter and number 1 fan of "Matt & Michael." He will be sorely missed. We love you Dad.

Also need to say goodbye to friend and Pop Sky bassist: Kyle Wieland. (1981-2003) In memory of these passing friends and family, the Pop Sky song "Moving On" is available free for download. (Right click and send link to disk, or "save target as") Be sure to listen for Kyle's background vocals.

It's been a looooong week...

11/08/2003 - I won't be doing any updates for a while due to a family emergency. Please check back in a week or so. Thank you for your support.

11/06/2003 - Another day another strip! I am in the groove! Today Marks the beginning of "Cafeteria Escapades!!" Added a new Wendy wallpaper into the zip files in the "extra" section. We're number 10! Keep voting!

11/05/2003 - Whoo-hoo! Another strip up! Three strips in two days... not too shabby! I'm experiencing a cartooning frenzy! This strip marks the end of another chapter in our epic tale. So, when next a strip appears, it will be the start of something new... I can almost taste it...

11/04/2003 - As promised, another strip up today, and it isn't even midnight yet! Aren't you proud of me? We'll see if I can't whip out a couple more strips here. I'm anxious to see the story line unfold.

11/03/2003 - Alright folks, here's the latest comic. And, because I'm such a nice guy, I'm going to guarantee that there will be another new strip up tomorrow. How can I possibly make such a promise you ask? Quite simple really: I already have tomorrow's strip done.

Matt & Michael has slipped to 9th place on thefunnypapers list. Please help us regain our stature by voting!! If you'd like to see where we stand now, click here.

Be sure to set some time aside to read "The Sandbox Manifesto", a collection of columns by Brent Taylor. This is good stuff, I promise. If you liked "The Bachelor's Corner", then I assure you, you will enjoy the sandbox as well.

11/02/2003 - "The Bachelor's Corner", and "The Sandbox Manifesto" have moved to www.mattandmichael.com. "The Sandbox Manifesto" consists of thirteen columns written by Brent Taylor. "The Bachelor's Corner" consists of ten columns. (yes, that's right, I finally got the tenth one up...only took me four and a half years...)

Thanks for reading!

~Matt
